Have you seen New Moon? If so, how do you think it compared to the book? Was it better or worse than Twilight? Please, no spoilers!

1. I'm considering going out later today @ SilverCity Metropolis and seeing it. (YES I AM THAT BORED!)

2. N/A, I haven't read the book yet. (NGL, I haven't even finished reading Twilight either.)

3. N/A, but I'll post my review hopefully later tonight.

Lastly, I must post this delightful gif made by [info]dnfrommn:

If you could only listen to one CD for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

This may come to a shock to many of you that I won't be choosing a Tiny Tim album, but instead I'd pick Barenaked Ladies' album Gordon. Image and video hosting by TinyPic I listened to my sister's copy constantly as a kid, and I still enjoy hearing it and over the years I've noticed that I can relate to a good number of the songs. :D IDK, somehow I find the whole flow and rhytmn have shaped me as a person. *shrugs* Enjoy the embedded track list, and the last one is on the imeem player~

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

In general, do you find yourself more attracted to people with similar or different interests, life experiences, political beliefs, and religious backgrounds? Do you think having some common interests/goals is essential for a successful relationship?

I find myself more attracted to those of similar political beliefs and religious backgrounds to mine, however I wouldn't consider being religious or right wing to be a deal breaker. I'd be easily attracted to someone whose passionate about discussing Politics in general, especially Canadian politics, since there is a good chance I'll fall head over heels if you're not apathetic towards it.

I'm quick to fancying someone whose interests involve computers, video games, blogging or anything related to technology and social networking.

I do see common interests/goals as being a essential in making or breaking a good relationship, and the reason being that if you're on a different page of life with another person, the chances of having any chemistry are very slim and without that spark a relationship is meaningless. That's why I find common interests and similar personalities last longer than basing an attraction on just looks. I tend to be attracted to someone's internal qualities before I speculate and crush on their outer qualities..

Which character from any film, television show, or book would you most like to take on a date and why?

Vince Masuka from Dexter, because he has a dorky & inappropriate sense of humor that I like, and IMHO his lulz are underrated.

BRB, gonna catch up the two most recent Dexter episodes (so far they only have last week's episode "Dex Takes a Holiday") from Season 4 through Shaw Video on Demand, I guess I'll have to catch up on the most recent one either---hopefully later today if it gets put on the VOD, or look it up. :P

Oh, and later fall asleep with the TV on because I'll be sleeping on my parent's couch in the living room, and it so happens my Uncle is going to come back from work at Molson's brewery around 6AM, which will startle Maggie and cause her to sound the dog alarm and wake me up in a matter of seconds. XD

Err, it has suddenly occurred to me that I *do not have an icon from Dexter*.

HOW CAN THIS BE?!

Can someone direct me to any awesome Dexter related graphics communities here on LJ or elsewhere, because it would be highly appreciated. :D

I would like to assure all those who've added me that I *do* read your entries, it just so happens that I get quite tongue-tied towards how to respond to them. :/

Just thought I'd bring it up, and y'all shall look forward to my lack-luster of comments and replies later this evening!

"What? What the hell are you doing with a bunch of rabid weasels?"

NGL, I kind of find Don Calfa attractive in an almost Steve Buscemi tone.

“Hi this is Cindy Gran(?). Hopefully this will work. Maybe I'll make this message to the elder people I don't know. Sure I've been trying to do this for quite a while and then like maybe 5 or 4 testers and they cut off right at the one mini mark. Sometimes it goes pass this one minute extra but it's weird I don't know why it won't work. I've been testing around seeing if it's because it's an mp3 format or the OGT(?) format or nothing wave but I don't know if it's going to work or not. So hopefully it'll work. If not whatever. I tried phoning the Canada number if that helps anybody out. Just wonder if anyone else has this from. Alright bye.”

Description:In 1974, Tiny Tim, in conjunction with his managers Roy Radin and Joseph Cappelluzzo, kicked off what would be his first comeback attempt. With a whole knew act which consisted of sparkling gold suits, a back-up band called The Timmies, and two dancers called The Tulips (not in this video), Tiny toured Holiday Inns and other low-level venues. The new act came to a halt in April of 1975, when Tiny was in a car accident in which he sustained 8 broken ribs and injuries to his ankle. His recovery took three months and the new act dissolved.
:) I love the song he performed in front of the audience (It's very uplifting and inspiring), and I'm curious if he wrote the lyrics for it since Johnny Carson brought up that Tiny Tim holds a Guinness Book of World Records for highest ratings when it came to his TV wedding show and the song referenced "man walking on the moon".
